Meet Dr. Talha Shaikh.
I’m a Chiropractor trained in New Zealand, originally from Auckland, and someone who takes both life and spinal health pretty seriously, while still enjoying the fun side.
Outside the clinic, you’ll probably find me training Muay Thai, swinging heavy kettlebells, or working through calisthenics. I love movement that challenges proprioception, joint strength, and control- not just for performance, so that my body stays resilient enough to show up every day and care for patients properly. I also enjoy heavy compound lifts, balanced with low nervous system fatigue, because longevity matters to me, in training and in practice. I want you to be your best for your entire life, because I want the same for myself.
When I’m not moving, I’m usually cooking for my family (I genuinely love it), eating well about 80% of the time, gaming (RuneScape is the best game ever), watching something funny, or diving into a good horror movie. I love being outdoors aswell, hiking, sports, adrenaline-filled activities, and getting lost in a good book.
My journey into chiropractic is personal. After dealing with a lower back injury for over five years — and finding nothing that truly helped — I had to learn how to strengthen, activate, and understand my body properly. That process led me to chiropractic, sparked by a video from Dr. Ian Rossborough showing a young boy who had been stuck bent over for years. It stuck with me.
I deeply believe in vitalistic and holistic care. Spinal health plays a huge role in overall biomechanical function, and when the spine moves and aligns better, the nervous system can communicate with less interference — allowing the body to function more smoothly.
I take my role seriously and feel genuinely honoured to help people, whether they’re dealing with pain or aiming to perform better. If I can play even a small part in improving your quality of life, that means everything to me.
“Our goal is to make sure that your spine, the Nerves that come out of your spine, your muscles and all of your joints, work together as best as possible, with optimal communication from your brain, Allowing you to operate at your best, consistently.”

Our Approach
At Noor Chiropractic, our goal is not to fix you. You are not broken.
We want you to express your light as best as you can. We focus on Vitalistic care, helping your nervous system unwind areas of stored tension and interference, so that your brain and body can communicate at the Most Optimal, allowing you levels of health many people do not think is possible.
Your brain is the control centre of the body, and the nerves that flow through your body are the messengers that carry the signals. When your spine has Subluxated or Misaligned, these nerve pathways cannot do their jobs as efficiently, resulting in symptoms such as pain, weakness, numbness/tingling, radiculopathy, balance and gait issues, etc.
Our Goal is to help your body be as efficient as possible, far beyond symptomatic relief. Your body is capable of being healthy; we just have to get rid of the interference.
What is a Subluxation?
In simple terms, a subluxation is a joint (Vertebrae or other) that has moved out of its proper position and is not functioning appropriately. Causing a miscommunication between the brain and body, altering the information to its surrounding structures negatively.
Definition: A Subluxation is currently defined as a self perpetuating, segmental motor control problem, that involves a joint, such as a Vertebrae, that is not moving appropriately, causing maladaptive neural plastic changes, that interfere with the central nervous systems ability to Self-regulate, self-organise, adapt, repair and heal. (The Rubicon Group, 2017)
Why Should you get assessed by a Chiropractor?
Chiropractors are doctors specially trained to assess how your spine & body function overall and what is the root cause of your symptoms. We assess biomechanics (how your body holds itself and cooperates with movement), neuromuscular functioning, and spinal alignment.
